Project 25 is our initiative to engage with at least 25% of the nation’s hardest to reach young people and match them up to an employer for between 1 & 2 days per week for the entire academic year.
An academic pathway isn’t for everyone, and we find that the cohorts that access the initiative benefit most from accessing the world of work.
You will be genuinely transforming someone’s life and allowing them to kick-start a career in your sector. If you are interested in supporting Project-25, please get in touch with us.

Can you make a big impact on a students career in two minutes?
Firstly, we encourage as many employers as we can to record a sector spotlight video – a short snapshot of how you got to where you are today – it will only take a few minutes of your time but is an invaluable resource for our students.
To make it as easy as possible, we’ve scripted seven simple questions for you to use as prompts during your video.
Once complete simply send us your video and we will take care of the rest; professionally editing your clip before sharing on our various platforms once finished.
For step-by-step instructions, download our Sector Spotlight guide here. If you need some inspiration, you can watch other employer videos already released here.

Our Live Masterclass Session is an opportunity for you to give students a real insight into your world and what you do day to day. Amos will be hosting the live interview, but this will ultimately be an opportunity for you’as the star of the show – to steer the interview.
Imagine you are talking to a new client about your business or your industry. What would you showcase? What would your day consist of? We want to know it all!
We ask students to submit questions to Amos and a selection will be presented as part of an interactive Q&A. This interview is interactive, which the students enjoy, and is an important part of the experience.
The interview takes around 45 minutes and gives students the opportunity to get a real insight into your business and what working life could be like in your industry. If you are interested, please get in contact with us.

Frequently asked questions
Work experience students do not need a CSCS card. The CITB has stopped this because it creates unnecessary barriers restricting student access to construction sites. CSCS does not issue cards to those on work experience placements. “Students perform a non-construction-related activity, and it is the responsibility of the site management team to ensure they remain safe at all times.”
Each site will operate differently, so it is up to the employer to keep those on work placements safe. This often includes the delivery of a site induction highlighting the specific dangers of a site and arranging for individuals to be appropriately supervised.

Work Experience
Work experience is vital in helping young people make the right choices and realise their potential. Such experiences can be pivotal for deciding which career path to take and can be an important first step into the world of work. At Changing Education we understand the challenges faced by schools and colleges to encompass a "wider careers model" within their curriculum and the additional cost and resource this can incur.
Project-25
We're on a mission to engage with at-least 25% of the nations hardest to reach young people and match them up to an employer between 1-2 days per week for the whole academic year. In the UK, 35 students are permanently excluded from school every day and only 1% of those go on to achieve the requirement of 5 good GCSE's.
Technical Levels
T Levels are new courses coming in September 2020, which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to 3 A Levels. These 2-year courses have been developed to meet the needs of industry and prepare students for work. T Levels will offer students a mixture of classroom learning and 'on-the-job' experience during an industry placement of at least 45 days.
